A Spiritual Occasion

The presence of God was palpable all day long during Carly and DJ’s glorious and family-oriented wedding. Tucked away in beautiful and wooded West Georgia, the McGarity House offered so much southern charm to this wedding. With an all-white stately house, vintage open barn, and pristine grounds, every part of the Pollard’s wedding day embodied the notion of sweet romance. When we saw the wrap-around porch, sprawling pine trees, and the apple tree-lined aisle, we knew there were so many amazing elements that would make their film so memorable.

A Family Affair

It was such a tender moment when Carly’s dad saw her for the first time in her beautiful wedding dress and later gave his daughter away to a teary-eyed and dedicated DJ. Family is everything, and Pastor Stephen Peeples reminded Carly and DJ of this throughout the ceremony. You could tell all their guests were really enjoying the big day too, especially when it came time during the reception to chow down on some classic southern fare (sweet tea, anyone?!) and then later an elegant and heavenly three-tiered flower adorned wedding cake.

We know these two have a wonderful life ahead of them! Enjoy their film below and be sure to check out the other talented vendors who helped make Carly and DJ’s day go so well. Links to their websites are below!
