We first met Sarah Miller back in July 2017 at her Harry Potter styled wedding shoot, which also happened to be the first one she ever hosted! That one was only supposed to be a small affair, but it blew up immediately afterwards for her!! Ten months and 26 styled shoots later, we were so happy to tag along on Sarah’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” themed shoot to film a behind-the-scenes/promo video for her. So much goes into these top-notch stylized shoots of hers, and we wanted to be the ones to showcase this tremendous creative effort to the world!!

With a network of over 2,000 photographers, vendors, and venue owners, Sarah has certainly become a leader in the Atlanta community of creatives! It was wonderful to learn a bit more specifics on how she got started doing styled wedding shoots, and where she plans to take her ever-expanding venture in the near future. Tennessee, Alabama, Florida and the Carolinas all have shoots in the coming months. Sarah hopes to travel beyond just the Southeast, perhaps to California or Hawaii; or even abroad, in the next year! At the rate she’s growing in influence and with her network of talented, dedicated vendors, the possibilities for potential dream locations are endless.

As Sarah discusses, the relationships her styled shoots have fostered are legit and totally lifelong! We personally have met and befriended several awesome vendors since participating in the Harry Potter shoot last summer, and for that we are so grateful, especially as we had only recently arrived in Georgia from Boston. In many ways, the people we met back then really helped our brand grow so much, and numerous opportunities arose from that single shoot!! It’s this dedication to the local creative community that inspired us to finally film a brand video for Sarah. Here’s to your continued success and journey as a photographer!

For this shoot, Sarah took inspiration from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and created a whimsical, wooded styled wedding full of bright, memorable colors like pink and purple. A last-minute emergency caused a change in venues within hours of the original start time, but as always, Sarah handled it deftly and kept everyone on track to produce beautiful imagery! Brenda of Bohemian Blooms really saved the day and offered her dreamy river-front property as the backdrop, which ended up working beautifully!

NeoClassical Designs and Perfect Events and Beyond both helped Sarah style and decorate the shoot with crystal details, faux candles, and other whimsical items. The cake provided by Valerie of Vividly Delicious cakes was also lovely, especially accented with such vibrant flowers! Also, who would have thought that strips of fabric could add so much beauty! We just love A Ribbon’s Nest hand dyed silk ribbons.

If you’re a wedding creative in the Atlanta area, we highly recommend checking out Sarah’s Facebook group dedicated to her stylized shoots! There you can view and purchase tickets for any upcoming shoots, offer your services as a vendor, network with fellow entrepreneurs, and enjoy all the beauty that abounds from these creative collaborations!
